A Case of Erythroleukemia in Childhood

Abstract
|
|
|
A case of erythroleukemia in 4 year and 10 month old boy is presented. Physical examination shows chronic ill appreance, pallor, grade 11-III systolic murmur on the apex, hepatosplenomegaly, cervical, axillary and inguinal lymphadenopathy.
The peripheral blood revealed increase in number of nucleated cells, predominantly erythroid series associated with anemia and thrmbocytopenia. The bone marrow findings shows hyper-cellularity with erythroid hyperplasia.
